All About Compression Shorts ... Compression shorts get their name from the "compression" fit that
these shorts provide. Most of these types of shorts are made using anywhere between 10%-15% spandex.
You may also see the term "Lycra" being used. Lycra is simply DuPont's brand name for spandex.
